The 604's are out of the famous UREI studio monitors (before JBL bought UREI).
They put their own horn and crossover on the 604.
BTW: The foam around the horn was supposed to damp HF reflections that wrapped around and bounced off the woofer cone . . .
The 1593A is a standard model that someone has replaced the two control knobs.
I have a 1593A data sheet . . .

Never seen an original 604 converted like that tho, shame probably cut $1500 off it's value....
Urei 604's are actually fairly common. They do sell for a little less generally.
